just a girl o_o with a half-assed background...got the idea to draw this when i was in an art gallery...but it's absolutely NOTHING like what i was looking at. not drawn directly from a reference, but i looked at three particular ads here and there just to see some facial features other than my own. drawn in painter classic and played around with in photoshop in the later stages. dunno how long it took, but it spanned several days. constructive criticism, please :D

EDIT: posted a new version, fixed things to the best of my ability according to ze criticism :3 thanks, everyone!

Wow, the hair is amazing! You did one hell of a good job on it. As for the neck, if its stylisation (sp?) then its fine, if not, its bit long. Nice skin tones as well, perfect shades, the shadow on her nose seems bit off, as the light source seems to be coming from the right font thus the shadow should prolly fall behind her nose and not visible to the eye. The bottom part of the lips could do with some darker shades. Other than that, i hope i made sense, good work overall.

I refuse to give criticism- nyah! oh alright. the only thing I can possibly think of is that her neck seems a bit long... but other than that it's awesome!! and the background doesn't look half assed :P She's so pretty :)

great colors. The lips are really brought out by the background, and the hair is done very nicely. The neck's a big thick, but I think that gives it a sense of style. Excellent

Jeezus thats good...I mean, hell, even I cant do anything nice like that in Painter Classic mainly due to the fact it supports no layers feature. XD

Absolutely LOVE the hair-job there, the highlights are wicked, mind sharing how you did them?
(I own both Painter Classic and Photoshop7.01 here so there should be no problem...)

Aside from the neck which has already been mentioned (I make that mistake alot as well), from my POV (point of view), it looks as if her forehead is a little too small there, but other than that, cant stop gawking at the hair colorin job. XD
